Dr VJ Phang - Veterinarian BSc BVMS (Hon's)
Hi I’m VJ! I am originally from Malaysia, I graduated from Murdoch University in 2010 and have a special interest in small animal medicine and surgery. At home I have three very cheeky cats named; Jelly, Mew and Cutie. Back in Malaysia I have a dog named Bambi who has been around forever! When I am not in the clinic you will find me trying out all sorts of new food around Perth. I cannot wait to meet all of you and your pets.
Dr Kira-Lee Procter - Veterinarian
I grew up down south in WA on a farm, from an early age I wanted to become a Veterinarian. I graduated in 2015 from Murdoch University and joined the Sage team. Currently I have family pets down south (including a very sassy cow named Millie and a lovely old cat called Nala) but no 'fur babies' with me here in Perth. I love working with animals and look forward to seeing you and your pet in the clinic!
Robyn McCabe- Registered Veterinary Nurse
I have always had the pleasure of sharing my home life with dogs, and I couldn't think of anything better than being surrounded by furry friends in my work place as well. I recently became a qualified Veterinary Nurse and it has been a dream come true. I get to wake up everyday knowing that I can make a difference to the lives of those who give so much to us without asking for anything in return.
Maddy Richardson - Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Hi, my name's Maddy. I have always loved and grown up around animals; and being able to work with them everyday was always going to be part of my dream job. I live with my handsome partner, Koval who is a Samoyed cross, Richie the cat and even a fish. Yes its a bit of a zoo, but I wouldn't have it any other way! It's so satisfying to have a job that I genuinely love and enjoy going to every day. I look forward to meeting you and your furbabies!
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Hi I'm Ellie! I joined Sage Vets in October 2014. My love for animals started at a very young age, I always had a house full of animals! My love for the veterinary industry started to come out when I travelled to South Africa as an 18 year old to work at a rehabilitation center for wild African animals including lions, cubs, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, rhinos and many more! After building so many relationships with these animals I realised I just could not do anything else.
My favourite aspect of being a vet nurse is seeing your pets through to the stage when they go home happy and healthy. I love seeing improvements, and knowing that the vets, myself and the other nurses have helped make that difference!
I currently have a very loving and playful 2 year old American Staffy X called Tucker, and a beautiful 7 month old black kitten called Harley who was originally handed into South St as a stray. I love my little fur family, and I can't wait to meet yours!
